Ducks experience too much for Kansas State

As a Ducks fan the first thing I want to do is thank all the players not named Beasley on the Kansas State team for being young and inexperienced. The Wildcats should be a very good and fun team to watch come March. But the big props go to the Ducks for battling the whole game and coming away with the overtime win 80-77. I had to Tivo the game so I just finished watching it and man what a game! More thoughts on the game tomorrow. Luenen, Catron and Taylor!!

Ducks ready for Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Showdown

Couple of different views on tonight’s game between 17th ranked Oregon and 25th ranked Kansas State. Pulled them from some betting sites. Disagree with the first, Maarty Leunen can play physical when he has to and Oregon is experienced enough to rotate help over for whoever does guard Beasley. The second hits it on the head, make someone other than Beasley beat us.

From covers.com forums…Oregon is not a good road team, and Michael Beasley should have his way with Leunen down low. The Ducks are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 road games. Kansas State is 9-4 ATS in their last 13 at home. Oregon got handled at St. Mary’s, and I think that this trip halfway across the country to Manhattan should trip them up.

from sbrforum.com…I believe there will be too much offense for Kstate to stop. Remember…”Ducks fly together” and this holds true with 5 ducks avg. double figures. Oregon must put ALL of their focus on the beast Michael Beasley and make someone else try and beat them. I look for an 84-79 win by the ducks. Quack Quack Quack
